Role overview
The Parental Care Centre advises child parents in the context of a voluntary and free offer on child support, paternity and parental care issues.
It draws up maintenance contracts for child parents and arranges for their approval by KESB.
In addition, it conducts proceedings for the legal determination of paternity and the settlement of maintenance claims and, where necessary, takes over the associated legal proceedings.

Main responsibilities

- You provide assistance in paternity and maintenance proceedings and represent the interests of the child in court on behalf of the Child and Adult Protection Authority (KESB)
- You advise the social workers of the Office for Adult and Child Protection (EKS) on family and child protection issues Requirements
- Master of Law or Bachelor in Social Work with In-depth Legal Knowledge
- Professional experience in the subject areas of the specialist centre
- Good knowledge of family, child and adult protection, civil and procedural law
