We are looking for someone to join us immediately or by arrangement.
Responsibilities
You will work with a motivated team consisting of three after-school care managers, three childcare specialists, one cook and four school assistants, three days per week (Mon, Thu and Fri) from 10:00-13:30 in lunchtime care for secondary school students. The work assignments take place only during term time, as lunchtime care is closed during the 13 weeks of school holidays. If desired, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday might also be possible.
Additional duties
- Co-managing the lunchtime after-school care program and ensuring its daily operation
- Supervising 50-70 secondary school students during lunch and in various leisure activities during the lunch period
- If needed, supporting care assistants in the school kitchen and with household tasks
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with the school team
- Contact with parents
Profile
- As an after-school care manager, you have a degree in Social Work, Social Pedagogy (FH/HF) or equivalent tertiary-level training in the educational field
- As a childcare specialist, you have a vocational qualification as a childcare specialist or early childhood educator
- You enjoy working with adolescents at secondary school level
- You are flexible, resilient and able to keep track
- You enjoy working in a team and value collaboration with teachers and parents
- You are administratively skilled and quickly familiarize yourself with new areas of responsibility

We are located at the northwestern end of the Uto school district, opposite Triemli City Hospital. Döltschi School comprises 15 upper secondary classes (including one welcome class), divided into 3 year groups and 2 streams (A and B). Approximately 300 young people attend Döltschi School. The care area includes a lunchtime care center.
