For the Gabler School we are looking for a motivated

Tasks

We are looking for a committed and flexible personality as co-director of care. They work at least 2 days per week (Friday fix). If you are interested, it is possible to increase the burden in the function as a hoarding line to 90 to 100%. As co-director of support, you take on a clearly defined area of responsibility, including personnel management. In this function, you are directly subordinate to the school management. The definitive working days can be clarified during a personal conversation.

Your duties as co-director include

• Personnel management of a part of the care staff, such as hoard management, specialist care and school assistance incl. Annual allocation of employees
• Recruitment of new employees and conduct of recruitment and probationary time interviews in the assigned personnel area
• Administrative and organisational work, including preparation of operational plans, securing deputies and allocation of children to the hoard
• Cooperation with school management, school staff, district school authority and other specialists
• Contacts with parents of different origins

Profile

• Degree in social pedagogy / social work (FH / HF), an EDK-recognized teaching diploma or an equivalent training at tertiary level in the pedagogical field (for foreign diplomas, a Swiss diploma recognition must be attached)
• Completed management training or willingness to complete it
• Ideally, you already have initial management experience as well as experience in the family support at the city
• Very good knowledge of modern information and communication technologies
• Very good oral and written German skills
• Flair for administrative and organizational tasks
• Flexible personality with high social and communication skills as well as an integrative flair

About us

The school district Uto is one of 7 school districts in the city of Zurich and includes districts 2 and 3 with the districts Leimbach, Wollishofen, Enge, Friesenberg and Alt-Wiedikon.

The Gabler School is located in the preferred district in the city of Zurich in the immediate vicinity of Lake Zurich and various parks. 14 primary classes are housed in the 150-year-old schoolhouse. Since the summer of 2025 we are a day school.
