Canton of Zurich Education Directorate Office for Youth and Vocational Advice kjz miles Social worker in kjz miles 70 - 100% The Office for Youth and Vocational Counselling (AJB) is responsible for child and youth welfare as well as professional counselling. The kjz (Child and Youth Assistance Centre) is a polyvalent counselling centre for families, parents, adolescents, children and toddlers and works on the basis of the Children and Youth Assistance Act of the Canton of Zurich. For the department of social work and mandates in kjz miles, we are looking for the addition of our team at 1. December 2026 or by agreement a social worker (70-100% ). They advise and accompany children, adolescents, mothers and fathers within the framework of child protection measures and on a voluntary basis. In addition, you carry out investigations into child welfare on behalf of KESB. In fulfilling your tasks, you work closely with authorities, schools, other institutions and specialist bodies. They bring with them:
- Completed social work training at a technical college
- Experience in youth and family assistance and ideally in mandate management
- a negotiable, goal-oriented and assertive personality
- high level of social competence and good written and oral expression
