Did you know that the city of Zurich has a water supply network of around 1,550 km? Our dedicated team ensures fresh, clean Züriwasser every day - and maybe soon with you! Are you from the field of sanitary, heating, metal construction or construction crafts? Are you interested in a job in the network service, but currently no suitable job is advertised or not yet the right time to change? Tasks
- Our dedicated team of around 50 pipeline assemblers is responsible for carrying out pipeline construction and repair work on drinking water pipelines and house connections.
- The focus is on new, extension and maintenance work in the pipeline network; for a reliable water supply of our inhabitants.
- We do teamwork on impressive piping systems with diameters from 50 mm to over 2 m.
- After in-depth training, we ensure the supply of pikett services (about 6 times a year, one week each) - even in the event of an incident.
Profile
- Completed vocational apprenticeship EFZ in the field of sanitary, heating, metal construction or construction crafts
- Further training as a pipe network fitter* with a federal certificate of advantage or willingness to complete this training (needed for exercise); Acquisition supported by employers
- Joy of working outdoors and varied assignments
- Teamwork, reliability, security awareness and commitment
- Cat B driving licence and good knowledge of German
