For our location in Zurich, we are looking for a Reception & Hospitality Services employee starting in November or by agreement.

What does the role entail?

• Welcoming and looking after our discerning guests at our locations in Zurich.
• Coordination and maintenance of the meeting rooms.
• Preparation and follow-up of the conference rooms (e.g. setting up projectors and presentations / replenishing supplies).
• Personalized hospitality for our clients and guests (in the meeting rooms and client lounges).
• Building access control, including management of employee and visitor badges.
• Operating the alarm center (including opening and closing the main entrance).
• Handling general administrative tasks (e.g. processing the reception mailbox, recording accounting vouchers for invoices, ordering office supplies, etc.).
• Professional handling of incoming calls (identifying the matter and forwarding it to the appropriate contacts).
• A high degree of flexibility and willingness to travel to support colleagues at Vontobel locations throughout Switzerland.
• Occasional assignments at evening events and customer events.

What are the requirements?

• Completed vocational training, preferably in the service sector, e.g. hospitality, gastronomy, aviation industry (Cabin Crew Member), etc.
• Several years of experience in a comparable position.
• Excellent Swiss German and German skills, as well as good English and French or Italian skills (spoken and written); additional languages are an advantage.
• Good PC user skills (MS Office: Outlook, Word and Excel).
• Customer-oriented attitude, strong service orientation and commitment to providing service.
• Very good organizational skills, an independent and precise working style, impeccable and discreet manners, and empathy.
• Affinity for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and willingness to work with AI Tools.

Work location

The position is currently based in Zurich. In 2030, the work location will be moved to Baar to further strengthen collaboration with the most important stakeholders in the business.
