We are looking for a senior project manager as civil engineer in civil engineering 100% (m/f/d) for our field of construction technology in Zurich, Pratteln, Bern or Frauenfeld.
Your responsibilities
- Project management and professional responsibility:
- Overall responsibility for planning, controlling and realizing complex civil engineering projects in the field of industrial construction and plant construction
- Management of interdisciplinary project teams over all project phases SIA 31 – 53
- Management and assurance of quality, costs, budget and deadlines over all project phases
- Coordination with authorities, entrepreneurs and builders
- Verification of technical concepts and details, static calculations and tender and implementation documents
- Technical support for technical questions in all SIA phases
- Leadership and team responsibility:
- Professional and disciplinary management of project teams
- Promotion and development of employees in subject-specific topics
- Mentoring team and further development of young project managers (project management)
- Ensuring a collegiate, performance-oriented working environment
Your profile
- Professional competence
- Completed degree in Civil Engineering (ETH/FH/BSc/MSc) or equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in managing complex large-scale projects (in Beireich civil engineering)
- In-depth knowledge in the fields of works and road construction
- Sound expertise in Swiss standards and construction contracts
- Experience with BIM methods and digital planning tools (Dalux)
- Entrepreneurial thinking with a high sense of responsibility and quality
- Social and leadership skills
- Ability to motivate, promote and lead teams in a results-oriented way
- Teamwork and willingness for interdisciplinary cooperation
- Strong leader with clear communication style and assertiveness
- High resilience, personal responsibility and structured working methods
- Negotiation skills and professional behaviour towards customers and authorities
- Language skills
- German: Negotiating (mother tongue or equivalent)
- English: good knowledge of word and writing
