Role overview

To strengthen our motivated and committed medical team, we are looking for a senior physician / a senior physician neonatology by appointment.

The 17-bed neonatology of the KSW supervises sick newborns and earlyborns from the 28th SSW and is firmly integrated in the Perinatal Center with the birth aid.

We work on Level NEO 1.1.1 (from 28 SSW/1000 g) and offer a 24/7 transport service with about 200 transports per year.

Main responsibilities

  • Responsibility for neonatology and the weekly bed / donor department
  • of general paediatric emergency service with the entire spectrum of paediatrics during service hours
  • Implementation of ground and air-bound newborn transports as part of transport Equipe Neonatology KSW Profile:
  • Specialist title Neonatology or FMH-Titel Kinder- und Jugendmedizin with experience in neonatology or pediatric intensive medicine
  • Interest in interdisciplinary cooperation and the exchange of cross-disciplinary perspectives to develop innovative solutions together
