- They care for patients with the entire spectrum of neuromuscular diseases in the outpatient and inpatient area, including rare neuromuscular diseases.
- In addition, the Laboratory for Clinical Neurophysiology with a focus on EMG/ENG, neurosonography and evoked potentials and develop this further professionally and organisationally
Main responsibilities
- They care for patients with the entire spectrum of neuromuscular diseases in the outpatient and inpatient area, including rare neuromuscular diseases.
- In addition, the Laboratory for Clinical Neurophysiology with a focus on EMG/ENG, neurosonography and evoked potentials and develop this further professionally and organisationally
- They are involved in the initial, further and further training of assistant doctors and other professional groups and participate in the neurological background service of the clinic.
- They initiate and lead scientific projects in the field of neuromuscular diseases and contribute to the academic development of the clinic
- They maintain close cooperation with patient organisations as well as national and international cooperation partners Requirements
- You are a specialist in neurology with proven expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of neuromuscular diseases, including rare clinical pictures
- They have the EMG/ENG qualification; additional neurophysiological qualifications (e.g. neurosonography or evoked potentials) are beneficial
- Scientific experience and publications in the field of neuromuscular diseases are beneficial
- They have leadership experience and are characterized by teamwork, initiative, a sense of responsibility and an appreciative and clear communication.
