Role overview

Our Group Technology Services division provides IT services and services to numerous Migros Group companies.

As a Senior Network Security Engineer (f/m/d), you help to maintain and develop our networks in the areas of F5/Loadbalancing, Firewall, Proxy, VPN and other security components.

Main responsibilities

  • Engineering in F5/Loadbalancing, Firewall and Proxy across the Migros network
  • Co-creation of the current and future network security environment with focus on F5/Loadbalancer
  • Support of 2nd level support in the area of incident and problem management
  • Training of employees of our Network Operation Center (NOC) and maintenance of documentation in Confluence
  • Coordination of external employees and partner companies in defined topic areas Requirements
  • At least 5 years of professional experience: in network engineering, design and operation with F5/Loadbalancer and network security
  • Completed vocational apprenticeship (EFZ): in computer science, corresponding further education beneficial
  • In-depth knowledge in the design and operation of F5/Loadbalancer (iRules) and experience in the field of Authentication (Entra-ID, SAML)
  • Customer-oriented personality with an independent and structured working method
  • Readiness for Picettdienst (about 10 missions per year) incl. Night and weekend assignments
