- The role will suit someone who enjoys working in ambiguity, going deep into market and business analysis, and influencing senior stakeholders across a global organization. You will:
- Partner with ZCM executive leadership, Zurich business unit and Group leaders, and external subject matter experts to identify and prioritize key markets for strategic review, using business performance data, market trends, and growth opportunities to guide where analysis is needed most.
- Lead deep-dive market assessments across existing and potential new markets, including opportunity sizing, competitive landscape, regulatory environment, demand drivers, and other market-specific factors.
- Define the capabilities, investments, subject matter expertise, and capacity required to pursue identified opportunities, including what exists today and what may need to be built.
- Develop financial and operational business models, clear business cases, strategic recommendations, and practical execution roadmaps to support decision-making and guide the path forward.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leaders, structuring complex information into clear, executive-ready proposals and discussion materials.
- Act as a strategic thought partner during evaluation and execution, and in some cases help lead delivery of defined market strategies and roadmaps.
- Track performance over time to measure the impact of recommendations, while leading the adoption of AI and emerging tools to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of research, analysis, and strategic documentation.
- What skills and experience you’ll bring on this journey:
- Minimum 10-12+ years of experience in strategy, corporate development, management consulting, business operations, or a related field, ideally within insurance, financial services, travel, or another complex global industry.
