Role overview

The Cyber Defense Center (CDC) protects Migros Group companies from cyberattacks.

A central part of our work is the development and delivery of a powerful tool landscape that enables efficient and professional detection and processing of cyberattacks.

This is continuously developed and supplemented with the latest technologies.

Main responsibilities

  • With your innovative impulses, you sharpen our high-end detection and response systems and ensure that we are always one step ahead of advanced attack scenarios.
  • Cooperation with the Cyber Defense Team, with the aim of a sustainable increase in security maturity and response automation
  • Your mission: transform complex security processes into smart, automated workflows
  • Bring innovative impetus to our already well-established tool landscape and shape the excellence of the entire CDC Requirements
  • Solid professional experience: in the Cyber Defense Engineering environment
  • Completed studies (uni/ETH, FH, HF): with specialization in the field of information security
  • Very good Python knowledge and experience with TDD, Design Patterns and Code Reviews.
  • Experience in development with Go is beneficial
  • Strong CI/CD experience (GitLab), as well as agile working methods such as DevSecOps or Scrum (Atlassian)
