This is the job - your main tasks

• Advising clients, project developers and operators on the strategic planning, conception and realization of highly available data centers and their support in demanding decision-making processes along the entire project life cycle.
• Assumption of the client representation and support of realization projects – from analysis and procurement to tendering and construction phase to final acceptance.
• Implementation of technical due diligence and assessments to evaluate existing properties with regard to their data center and TGA infrastructure, potential, risks and sustainability.
• Development of sustainable concepts for critical trades (electricity, climate, safety, network) and quality assurance according to relevant standards (e.g. EN 50600, TIA-942).
• Leadership of challenging consulting mandates and moderation of workshops with interdisciplinary teams from architecture, technical building equipment (TGA) planning and IT.
• Development of decision-making bases for management and project committees and presentation of complex technical issues appropriate to the addressee at different hierarchical levels.

This job is for you if

• You have several years of experience in the planning, construction, operation or consulting of data centers and are happy to contribute your expertise in the context of construction and real estate projects (especially in the area of TGA).
• You have a sound technical understanding of the central trades of a data center and their interaction – underpinned by a study (engineering, (business) informatics) or, correspondingly, many years of professional experience.
• D u has a strong analytical and conceptual ability to solve complex challenges in a structured way.
• Thanks to your confident appearance and your communication strength, you can understand complex technical issues for different target groups.
• D u show a high degree of initiative and sense of responsibility and likes to think and act entrepreneurially.
• You communicate negotiably in German and English.

As an i-top you bring with you

• E in basic understanding of OT/SCADA systems, especially in building automation (GLT/BMS), or with IoT platforms in the real estate context.
• First touch points with OT security or IT security for critical infrastructures.
• Certifications in the data center environment (e.g. CDCP®, CDCS®, TÜV TSI), in project management (e.g. HERMES, IPMA) or in the OT security area (e.g. IEC 62443) are a welcome plus.
