For our Lugano office, we are looking for a Senior Compliance Officer with solid experience in Client Tax Compliance and related regulatory reporting.
The selected candidate will be the internal point of reference for FATCA, QI and AEOI/CRS obligations, ensuring proper management of client classification processes, reporting, and data quality control.

- Ensure correct and timely management of regulatory obligations relating to FATCA, QI and AEOI/CRS, guaranteeing compliance with Swiss and international regulations;
- manage the entire regulatory reporting process, including extraction, reconciliation, validation and analysis of data required for the preparation of FATCA, QI and AEOI/CRS reports;
- Solid experience in Client Tax Compliance (FATCA, QI, AEOI/CRS) and regulatory reporting
- Strong knowledge of AML, KYC, CDB20 and MROS/goAML reporting processes
Main responsibilities
- Ensure correct and timely management of regulatory obligations relating to FATCA, QI and AEOI/CRS, guaranteeing compliance with Swiss and international regulations;
- manage the entire regulatory reporting process, including extraction, reconciliation, validation and analysis of data required for the preparation of FATCA, QI and AEOI/CRS reports;
- verify the correctness and completeness of client tax documentation, ensuring proper tax classification of individuals and entities for FATCA, QI and AEOI/CRS purposes;
- monitor the quality of data used for regulatory reporting and collaborate with the various functions for the implementation of controls;
- as the IRS "point of contact" and holder of access to the relevant IT platform, ensure that the Bank's and group companies' data and registration information with the IRS are correct;
- plan and manage as first instance the periodic triennial FATCA/QI review entrusted to independent third parties;
- act as AFC "point of contact" for AEOI and FATCA Group Requests;
- carry out the assessment of client relationships classified as high risk and relationships with Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) during the onboarding phase, through the analysis of KYC documentation and the verification of its completeness, accuracy and plausibility;
- review client dossiers to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, identifying any critical issues and defining corrective measures for existing clients (individuals and legal entities);
- support and advise the Front Office on AML, KYC, CDB20 and other compliance topics, within onboarding and periodic reviews;
Key requirements
- Solid experience in Client Tax Compliance (FATCA, QI, AEOI/CRS) and regulatory reporting
- Strong knowledge of AML, KYC, CDB20 and MROS/goAML reporting processes
- Experience in client onboarding, periodic reviews and high-risk/PEP relationship assessment
- Familiarity with Swiss and international regulatory frameworks
- Ability to act as point of contact with IRS and AFC authorities
- Experience as Key User for compliance applications and IT system validations
- Ability to combine regulatory rigor with a pragmatic, business-oriented approach
- Excellent communication skills and ability to train and support Front Office
