Sustainability At AXA XL, sustainability is an essential part of our business strategy. In an ever-changing world, AXA XL protects what matters most to our customers and communities. We know that sustainability is the basis for a more resilient future. Our 2023-26 sustainability strategy, Roots of Resilience, focuses on protecting natural ecosystems, tackling climate change and integrating sustainable practices into our entire business.
Our pillars of values
- Appreciation of nature: How we interact with nature affects how nature affects us. Resilient ecosystems – the foundation of a sustainable planet and society – are vital to our future. We are committed to protecting and restoring nature – from mangrove forests to the bees in our garden – by raising awareness of biodiversity and putting nature at the heart of our plans.
- Combating climate change: The effects of climate change are far-reaching and significant. Unpredictable weather, rising temperatures and sea level rise cause both social inequalities and environmental disruption. We build a net-zero strategy, develop insurance products and services, and promote thought leadership and investment in societal solutions.
- ESG integration: All companies must play a role in building a more resilient future. Including ESG considerations in our internal processes and practices strengthens the resilience of our company from the ground up. We train our employees, involve our external partners and further develop our sustainability governance and reporting.
- AXA Hearts in Action: We have created volunteer and charity programs to help colleagues support the things they care about, known as AXA XL’s “Hearts in Action” programs. This includes our Matching Gifts program, our volunteer holiday and our annual volunteer day – the Global Day of Giving.

Questions about this listing
What salary does AXA Svizzera offer for this role?
The original listing does not state a salary. Our estimate for this role and sector in Zürich is CHF 189'000 - 331'500 gross per year — an estimate, not a figure communicated by AXA Svizzera. The calculator on this site converts a gross salary into your actual net take-home once cross-border tax and social contributions are applied.
Is this a full-time role, and what type of contract does AXA Svizzera offer?
This listing is a full-time position. The contract type shown here comes directly from the employer's original posting; always confirm exact hours, notice period and probation length with AXA Svizzera during the application process, since these details can vary by role even within the same contract category.
Do I need a cross-border work permit for a role in Zürich?
EU/EFTA residents living in the border zone of the country adjoining Canton Zürich can apply for a G permit; the Swiss employer files it with that canton's migration office after the contract is signed. Border-zone rules and processing times vary by neighbouring country and canton, so confirm the specifics with Zürich's cantonal migration office or with HR during the application.
