Your impact

As a Senior Associate in the Strategy & Team, you work with leading national and international organizations in various industries. Together with your team, you will develop analyses, strategies and concepts along the entire value chain – from business and operational models to technology and digital strategies and transformation programs. You take responsibility for clearly defined project modules or workstreams and drive their content processing independently. You structure problems, carry out well-founded analyses and derive data-based recommendations for action. In close exchange with project management and team, you ensure that results are consistent, resilient and implementation-oriented. In addition, you work closely with customers, prepare results appropriate to the addressee and support the presentation of central findings to management and decision-making bodies. You will receive early responsibility for central analyses and content within the project work. In addition, you are actively involved in teamwork, support younger colleagues and contribute to an open and collaborative team culture. Through training and project work, you will continuously develop your methodological, industry and consulting skills. In projects, you analyze complex questions of our customers and develop structured solutions with sustainable added value. Typical topics are:

• Development of corporate, business and digital strategies
• Analysis and further development of business and operating models
• Support for transformation and change programs
• Participation in M&A initiatives, carve-outs and portfolio strategies
• Analysis and optimization of organizations, processes and value chains
• Use of data, analytics and new decision support technologies

You also support the creation of analyses, presentations and concepts within the framework of offer developments and thus contribute to the further development of existing customer relationships.

Your skill set

• Academic background: Above-average university studies (Master, MBA or PhD) in Economics, (Business) Informatics, (Business) Engineering, Natural or Social Sciences, Statistics/Data Science or a comparable subject area.
• Professional experience: Several years of relevant professional experience in a top strategy consultancy or in challenging corporate functions, ideally related to strategy, transformation, digitalization or performance improvement. Experience in the structured processing of complex questions as well as in the independent processing of project modules.
• International experience: experience abroad through study, internship or profession as well as interest in working in international and intercultural contexts.
• Communication strength: Very good oral and written communication skills in German and English. Ability to present complex content in a clear and structured way.
• Analytical Competence: Strong analytical skills and structured working methods with the ability to quickly capture complex issues and translate them into sound analysis and actionable recommendations.
• Digital Affinity: Secure in use with common tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint) and open to modern data analysis and AI tools
• Knowledge of data processing, statistical software or programming languages is an advantage.
• Personal profile: High initiative, willingness to learn and team orientation. Pronounced customer orientation as well as the aspiration to achieve a sustainable impact on customers together in the team.
