- Take responsibility for the day-to-day execution of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting;

- Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses, ensuring compliance with internal policies, Swiss GAAP and IFRS;
- Drive innovation and identify areas for automation to simplify business processes and process optimization to enhance efficiency and scalability Support the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, and audit-ready documentation;
- Review and prepare subsidiaries in ensuring accuracy of monthly closings;
- Work closely together with the accounting staff, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development support;
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls;
- Partner with the SOX team to ensure controls are operating effectively within key accounting processes;
- Support external audits, including preparation of audit schedules, responses to auditor inquiries, and remediation of identified issues;
- Assist with technical accounting research and the implementation of new accounting standards as needed;
