- The Senior Accountant provides support to the financial team in various tasks and responsibilities.
- He is responsible for managing the accounting of the entire Record to Report (RTR) process within the Group's companies in France, ensuring the accuracy of the data and compliance with Sulzer's accounting standards and internal rules.
Main responsibilities
- The Senior Accountant provides support to the financial team in various tasks and responsibilities.
- He is responsible for managing the accounting of the entire Record to Report (RTR) process within the Group's companies in France, ensuring the accuracy of the data and compliance with Sulzer's accounting standards and internal rules.
- In addition, it supports general accounting processes in the areas of "Procurement to Pay" (PTP) and "Order to Cash" (OTC), where necessary.
- Participate in the closing of the period, including by closing the auxiliary general ledger of accounts receivable and suppliers and making the reconciliation with the general ledger
- Oversee the end-of-month and end-of-year processes; participating in the preparation of accounting entries, balance sheet reconciliations and analysis of differences
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets and cash flow tables
- Participate in accounting entry of invoices without purchase order
- Assist the Shared Financial Services Team in Capital Management Activities
- Work closely with the Reporting & Analytics team to analyze financial data and provide financial performance information, identify trends and variances to support operational decisions
- Ensure coordination with other services and shared financial services teams to ensure that all financial transactions are properly accounted for and reflected in the general ledger
