Uroviva stands for a modern medical network and includes a special clinic for urology, nine urological practices and an andrology center. With approximately 55,000 consultations each year in primary, special and emergency care and more than 5,000 operations of all severity levels, Uroviva is an important provider of urological services in Switzerland. For our team in the Uroviva practice in Zurich at Stadelhofen station, we are looking for a Medical assistant (80 - 100%)

Their tasks

Medical Secretariat area / Reception and telephone center

• Reception and reception of patient personal data
• Operation of the telephone, including internal telephone calls
• Maintenance of Uroviva’s email inbox
• Independent planning of the office hours
• Writing reports through the AI program MPAssist
• Settlement of services provided
• Delivery of medicines and materials to patients on the instructions of doctors
• Processing of cash and card payments of patient bills
• Cross-team support
• If necessary also support / discharge of other locations when writing reports

Your profile

• Completed training as medical secretary or MPA EFZ with professional experience
• Savvy with medical terminology, urology knowledge beneficial
• Maintained appearance
• Stylistic German in word and writing, other foreign languages are advantageous
• Friendly, sovereign appearance even in hectic situations
• Discretion and responsibility in dealing with sensitive patient data
• Good MS Office application knowledge and experience with Vitomed is beneficial, not mandatory
• Teamwork, contact, commitment and a high degree of independence and flexibility
• A highly motivated personality with a lot of empathy and patience for patients

Requirements

• Medical secretary/MPA EFZ diploma with professional experience

• Advanced proficiency in medical terminology, specific knowledge in urology is an advantage

• Well-groomed appearance

• Confident and stylistically correct command of German (oral and written), other foreign languages are an advantage

• Friendly and confident demeanor even in crowded situations

• Discretion and sense of responsibility in handling sensitive patient data

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and experience with Vitomed is an advantage (not mandatory)

• Teamwork skills, friendliness, commitment, and a high level of autonomy and flexibility
