Do you enjoy forest, landscape, teaching and accompanying students on their way through their studies?

You will help students develop exciting questions, apply clean methods and prepare their results in an understandable way

The position combines professional depth with a lot of room for manoeuvre, direct contact with students and a varied working day between teaching, organization, supervision and teamwork. About us
The FORM Group is a dynamic, interdisciplinary research team at ETH Zurich.
We deal with the question of how forests can be sustainably managed, understood and protected today and in the future.
For this purpose, we develop new approaches to inventory of forest resources, work with modern data and modeling methods and deal with decisions under uncertainty and risk.
In teaching, we are strongly engaged in the Department of Environmental Systems Sciences D-USYS.
We offer lectures, internships, field courses and excursions around forest resource management, forest ecology, landscape management and applied decision support.
Our teaching is practical, interactive and often where the forest is best understood: outside.
The appointment shall take place as soon as possible by agreement.
