- The FORM Group is a dynamic, interdisciplinary research team at ETH Zurich.
- We deal with the question of how forests can be sustainably managed, understood and protected today and in the future.
- For this purpose, we develop new approaches to inventory of forest resources, work with modern data and modeling methods and deal with decisions under uncertainty and risk.
- In teaching, we are strongly engaged in the Department of Environmental Systems Sciences D-USYS.
- We offer lectures, internships, field courses and excursions around forest resource management, forest ecology, landscape management and applied decision support.
- Our teaching is practical, interactive and often where the forest is best understood: outside.
- The appointment shall take place as soon as possible by agreement.
