Tasks

• Independent implementation of the school social service at the Liestal secondary school in a team of two;
• advising and supporting young people in dealing with everyday life, social problems and conflicts;
• advising and supporting teachers, school leaders and guardians on educational, social and child protection issues;
• participation in school and class projects, prevention and school development;
• Networking and cooperation with the services of psychiatry, psychology, social services, the various counselling centres, the promotion of children and youth and the specialised centres and authorities for child and youth protection Requirements
• We expect a completed education in social work
• They have a high level of technical and social competence
• Ideally, you have completed further training in systemic school social work, systemic counselling or child protection.

• They enjoy dealing with young people, parents and teachers as well as interdisciplinary cooperation
• You can contribute flexibly and independently to the lively operation of a school The Office for Child, Youth and Disability Services (AKJB) supports children, young people and families as well as people with disabilities through various services.

In cooperation with secondary schools, it implements the School Social Service.

The Liestal secondary school with a regional character comprises 47 classes with about 899 pupils, which are taught by about 145 teachers.
