As a Bid Manager, your primary goal is to successfully sell rail vehicles worldwide.

Main responsibilities

  • The preparation of offers, the coordination of the team, and the preparation of sales meetings with the top management are all your responsibilities.
  • Bachelor's degree from a technical university (ETH, TU or equivalent), or technical training with a bachelor's degree (FH or equivalent)
  • Project leadership and/or leadership experience desirable
  • Industrial experience from the plant or machine building sector advantageous Very good handling of MS Office
  • German and English (mother tongue or at least conversational), further languages of significant advantage Self-reliant, decision-making, responsible Team player
  • High flexibility in terms of availability, especially during the offer submission period Travel readiness TASKS
  • Cross-site project leadership of the offer process and leadership of the offer team in coordination with the salesperson
  • Responsibility for the timely and specification-compliant submission of the overall offer (in particular coordination of the offer team & work packages, offer & time planning, price calculations, progress controls, quality assurance of the offer documents incl. handover of the offer to the customer)
  • Preparation and active participation in sales meetings with the top management
  • Calling and leading project team meetings (Kick-Off Meetings, progress controls (FSKs) and handover meetings for contract processing) incl. supervision of activities
