The Department of Culture defines the strategic orientation of cultural promotion and implements the cultural policy of the Government Council. It promotes contemporary cultural creation in various fields, supports projects and institutions, awards prizes and awards and supports communities in their cultural programmes. On 1 February 2027 or by agreement, we are looking for a person who implements and drives cultural policy projects with commitment and enforcement and is responsible for cultural policy communication. Your tasks

• Support for cultural policy issues and projects, such as answering inquiries and postulates, in exchange with cultural institutions, administration and politics.
• Responsibility for cultural policy communication of the Cultural Centre in close cooperation with the management.
• Coordination and responsibility for the implementation of the priorities of the cultural mission statement.
• Responsibility for the strategic communication of the cultural department
• Participation in management
• Representation of the canton in bodies Profile
• Completed studies or comparable professional experience
• Several years of professional experience in political communication as well as in the conception and implementation of cultural policy projects and strategic projects. Knowledge of Swiss cultural promotion and cultural policy actors as well as a good understanding of professional cultural creation in the Canton of Zurich.
• Experienced:r Communicator:in, with a feeling for relevant topics and target groups as well as the ability to develop and implement content independently.
