The Letzigrund stadium is one of the most modern stadiums in Switzerland. The gastronomy comprises several areas, including the outdoor stands and the Oval restaurant. The VIP area for major events includes 11 boxes, 3 business lounges and the athletics lounge for almost 800 guests. It hosts the home games of FC Zurich and the Grasshopper Club Zurich, the Weltklasse Zurich meeting as well as open-air concerts such as those by Robbie Williams, Rolling Stones, Metallica and Pink. A variety of corporate and private events also take place. With a capacity of over 50,000 spectators for concerts, the Letzigrund stadium is the largest event venue in Switzerland. Do you want to take on responsibility where sport, emotions and first-class hospitality come together? We are looking for you immediately as Head of Public Catering in Letzigrund Zurich. Create unforgettable visitor experiences and lead a team that creates excitement at every event. Your task menu:

• Coordination, management and organisation of the entire outdoor area in the Letzigrund Stadium gastronomy (outdoor stands, mobile stands, external food concepts, etc.)
• Ensuring smooth processes in the stadium during major events (football matches, concerts, Weltklasse Zürich, etc.)
• Ensuring guest and employee satisfaction
• Main responsibility for quality management at the receivables
• First point of contact for partners, facility management, major event organisers and production partners in connection with all catering matters in the outdoor stadium area
• Completion of various administrative tasks (obtaining offers, e-mails, planning the stands at major events, etc.)
• Main responsibility for the monthly financial statements as well as inventory for receivables (calculation and cost controlling)
• Responsibility for correct signage and signage
• Ordering of all F&B products for receivables as well as warehouse management (goods receiving, control, etc.)
• Meetings or negotiations with organizers, suppliers, etc.
• Responsibility for the entire employee scheduling
• Contact person for occupational safety (KOPAS)
• Implementation and assurance of quality standards and ZFV guidelines (hygiene and occupational safety, services, etc.)
• Planning, training, management and qualification of employees
• Recruitment of employees in cooperation with the People & Culture department Your recipe for success:
• Training or further education in the commercial sector or good administrative knowledge
• 10 -15 years of professional experience in the event or stadium sector, including 5 years in a management position
• Experience in the event sector is essential, especially when it comes to major events
• Knowledge of occupational safety and quality management
• Forklift ID card
• Sound IT knowledge of MS Office as well as industry-specific systems
• Experience in POS systems incl. programming
• Very good oral and written German skills, English skills are an advantage
• Ability to build teams
