Introduction
As HSE Manager, you actively shape health, occupational safety and the environment at our industrial and logistics site in Hinwil. Together with local and global stakeholders, you ensure that legal requirements, corporate standards and sustainable HSE practices are effectively anchored in everyday work. In this role, you take on a central advisory and control function, strengthen the safety culture and make a visible contribution to the well-being of our employees and to the sustainable development of our site.
Main responsibilities
- Further development of the HSE strategy for the site as well as continuous improvement of health, safety and environmental performance.
- Responsibility for the further development of the Integrated Management System (ISO 14001 / ISO 45001) in compliance with Group requirements and legal requirements.
- Central contact person for authorities, auditors and external bodies as well as monitoring inspections, audits and certifications.
- Management of risk analyses, environmental assessments, incident and accident investigations, including ensuring effective measures.
- Promote a sustainable culture of safety through training, awareness-raising and close cooperation with managers and employees.
- Development and coordination of emergency and crisis management processes and organisation of appropriate exercises.
- Ensure meaningful HSE reporting and active cooperation in group-wide HSE initiatives and in the exchange of best-practices.
Skills required
- Completed vocational training with further training and the qualification as a specialist:in ASGS or Expert:in ASGS.
- Several years of experience in the HSE environment of an industrial or logistics company, excellent communication skills in German and English, and a strong proximity to operational business. High presence on site and the ability to work closely with the operational teams.
- Well-founded experience in the development, development and auditing of management systems according to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Very good knowledge of Swiss legislation in the areas of occupational safety, health protection, environmental management and compliance.
- Experience in handling HSE indicators, reporting systems and digital tools, especially Microsoft 365 and HSE software.
- Extensive leadership, communication and persuasion skills combined with a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach.
- Integrative and tycoon personality with high ownership, prioritization strength and a passion for safety culture and continuous improvement.
- Negotiable German knowledge and good English skills.
