Are you ready for a job where you can make a meaningful difference for people and nature? As of spring 2027, you will have the chance to do so in the sense of an early succession planning as project manager of the Department of Nature Conservation and Urban Ecology.
Tasks
- They are responsible for the governmental supervision and the professional supervision of the municipal landscape conservation objects and work together with municipal and cantonal specialist bodies.
- They produce expert reports and commission protection investigations on municipal landscape protection objects for the benefit of the city council.
- They manage, accompany and coordinate projects for the conservation of municipal landscape conservation areas
- They draft opinions on building applications and other projects involving municipal landscape protection objects
Profile
- University or technical college degree in preferably geography, geology, biology, environmental sciences/engineering, landscape architecture or comparable
- Several years of project management experience in a comparable position with an in-depth understanding of landscape aesthetic aspects, especially in the settlement-related environment
- Knowledge of the legal bases of nature and landscape protection
- Self-responsible, independent and resilient personality with networked thinking
- stylish German skills in word and writing and conceptual skills
- Knowledge of public administration and in dealing with Q-GIS is an advantage
