The City of Zurich manages an extensive real estate portfolio and operates daily at the interface between law, politics and urban development. The legal service is a central point of contact. As a team leader, you are interested in socio-political issues, take on the professional and personnel responsibility for a team that you shape and actively shape the legal service. Job as of 1 March 2027.
Tasks
- Organizational, personnel and professional management of the team Legal Service with 2 employees*
- Legal advice and support to the management and specialist areas in legal matters with a focus on public law, administrative procedures and information and data protection law
- Representation in appeal and appeal proceedings
- Coordination of parliamentary initiatives
- Consultations and participation in legislative projects
- Performing and coordinating the IDG/DSG officer function
Profile
- MLaw or lic. iur. a Swiss university, lawyer's patent desirable
- Well-founded professional experience in public law and administrative procedures from the administration or private sector, knowledge of data protection law is advantageous
- Leadership experience in a comparable position
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, stylish formulation
- Analytical and strategic thinking
- Initiative, enthusiasm, socio-political interest
