Full description
In this key role, you will lead our workshop team at the Wallisellen site, coordinate maintenance and repair work with manufacturers and suppliers and ensure that our fleet is reliable for daily use in the city of Zurich. We are looking for an experienced leader from January 2027 or by appointment.

Tasks
- You will lead the workshop team of six employees in terms of personnel and expertise, ensure the availability of our fleet, optimize processes, plan the order volume of the workshop and ensure economic utilization as well as our safety and quality standards.
- You are responsible for the planning, coordination and monitoring of maintenance, repair and maintenance work on municipal vehicles, e.g. sweepers and special equipment, e.g. for winter service and support the mechanics in demanding diagnoses.
- You are the central contact person for manufacturers, suppliers and external partners, coordinate technical issues, accompanying product developments and test phases, participate in procurement and are in constant exchange with the operative employees in the urban cleaning regions.
- From November to mid-March, you organize the winter service piket (extra compensation) in three groups and also provide part of the piket service yourself during this time.
- You take responsibility for the education of our learners and support them in their development.
Profile
- Training as agricultural machinery mechanic, mechanic or mechatronics technician (EFZ level)
- Several years of management experience in a workshop environment (leadership training beneficial) as well as experience as a hub in contact with customers as well as in cooperation with manufacturers, suppliers and partners
- Good knowledge of German (level C1), strong technical understanding and a structured and solution-oriented working method
- Enjoy taking on leadership responsibility, promoting employees and actively developing processes
- Category B and C driving licence
