Full description
The implementation of the urban objectives includes the strategic procurement of land and properties. For portfolio management and development, we are looking for a strategically thinking, experienced and communicative personality immediately or by agreement.
Tasks
- Overall responsibility for the municipal acquisition activities of the City of Zurich in coordination with the Head of the Financial Department and the Management Board LSZ
- Development and implementation of an acquisition strategy involving affected service departments for the benefit of the city council
- Ensuring compliance requirements internally and externally
- Organizational, technical and personnel management and further development of the acquisition team, consisting of 2 employees
- Planning, control and implementation of strategy-compliant real estate acquisitions
- Conducting acquisition negotiations with sellers, internal and external partners and other stakeholders
- Preparation of sound foundations, proposals and technical documentation for the political and administrative strategic decision-makers
- Reporting on behalf of municipal and city council, finance department and management
Profile
- University degree Uni / ETH / MAS e.g. in economics, law, economics, architecture or comparable
- Substantive further training in real estate management (e.g. CUREM, federal real estate trustee) and/or in real estate valuation (e.g. valuer* in SVIT)
- Proof of several years of professional experience in real estate acquisition or consulting
- Good networking and good market knowledge of the real estate market of the city of Zurich
- Personnel and entrepreneurial leadership experience
- Professional experience in large organizations
- Strong assertiveness and negotiation as well as convincing personality with strong communication skills
