The Department of Education and Vocational Training (DEF) and its General Secretariat (SG) are looking for a Research Officer to work within the Research Unit for the Pilotage of Educational Systems (URSP).
Linked to the Directorate of Education Evaluation and Planning (DEPE), the URSP is mandated for educational research projects that shed light on the functioning of the training system and the challenges of Vaudian education.
Through its research activities, it is helping to steer the school system and helps to provide a critical perspective that is useful to all school partners.

- As part of these missions, you are asked to:
- Develop and conduct studies and research projects in education;
- Collaborate on research projects in education at cantonal, inter-cantonal, national and international levels;
- Conduct evaluations of the training system or departmental projects;
- Provide information and advice, carry out expertise and participate in working groups;
- Contribute to the management of training policies;
- Develop and publish departmental steering indicators, particularly in the HR and finance areas;
Additional details
- Conduct quantitative statistical analyses in the various fields of education science.
- A dual competence in research and statistical pilotage, and a strong interest in these two areas, are necessary for this position.
