Professional and administrative management of the Extension Vegetable Research Group (organisation, finance, human resources) and overall responsibility for aligning activities according to the practical needs and scientific excellence of the Group
overall responsibility and central contact for questions and practical research in outdoor vegetable cultivation at Agroscope;
Establishment and management of interdisciplinary project teams with representatives of the affected Agroscope areas and external partners

Company and context
- Representation of Agroscope in national and international committees and organizations for the purpose of networking and expanding practical vegetable expertise
- Doctorate in agricultural sciences with a focus on plant cultivation/horticulture (or comparable training) as well as proven research experience in these areas, ideally on practical multi-activity projects
- Experience in vegetable practice or similar production
- Extensive professional network in the field of plant and vegetable production as well as in-depth knowledge of the framework conditions of Swiss plant production
- Strong leadership skills, strong team spirit and convincing communication skills
- Very good knowledge of two official languages and English in word and writing
