As an R&D Battery Engineer , you will drive battery innovation across our Hearing Instruments and Charging Systems, bringing next-generation energy solutions from technology scouting to product integration.

  • Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field
  • Proven experience in battery technology development within medical devices, consumer electronics, wearables, automotive, or another high-tech industry
  • Experience working with battery suppliers and introducing new battery technologies into products.
  • Good understanding of Battery Management Systems (BMS), battery modeling, charging strategies, and battery estimation algorithms such as State of Charge (SoC) and State of Health (SoH)
  • Deep understanding of battery technologies, electrochemistry, battery manufacturing processes, reliability, aging mechanisms, and verification methodologies
  • Strong Python programming skills for engineering automation and data analysis
