For the successful implementation of our current and future demanding construction projects, we are looking for 1. January 2027 or by agreement a project manager building projects.
Tasks
- As a project manager* in construction and development, you lead new and conversion projects on the client side and are responsible for controlling on the client side.
- In our diverse projects, they ensure the demands on architectural quality, costs and deadlines.
- They ensure that legal requirements as well as economic and ecological framework conditions are taken into account in the planning and execution.
Profile
- Completed degree in architecture ETH/FH or equivalent education and further education in real estate and project development and/or business administration beneficial
- Several years of proven experience in the planning and execution of demanding construction projects
- Experience on the client side (ideally in a public or non-profit organization)
- Interest in issues of age-friendly and cost-conscious construction
- Knowledge of public procurement, the planning and approval processes of the City of Zurich and the cantonal and municipal housing promotion Willingness to appropriate them

The Foundation for Retirement Apartments of the City of Zurich SAW currently operates around 40 settlements with more than 2000 affordable apartments for people aged 60 and over. It supports its tenants with everyday, social and nursing services and thus enables them a high quality of life into old age. By 2035, the SAW plans to put further settlements with around 1000 additional apartments into operation.
