Project Manager: in IH/IS Building Technology & Infrastructure (m/f/d)

80%-100%, Zurich, permanent

In the Facility Services department of ETH Zurich, we create the optimal conditions for teaching, research and technology transfer. We maintain the buildings and ensure the energy and media supply as well as the technical and infrastructural management of all rooms used by ETH Zurich.

For this task, we are looking for a project manager: in IH/IS Building Technology & Infrastructure.

Job description

In this versatile function, you take over as project manager: in (m/f/d) the responsibility for technical and structural maintenance and repair projects. Its goal is to maintain and improve the functionality, efficiency and sustainability of the building infrastructure.

They coordinate, prioritize and bundle the project orders and control the portfolio of measures taking into account the specifications and the given budget. In close exchange with internal and external stakeholders, you develop practical solutions and implement the projects independently within the framework of cost, deadline and quality requirements.

As an innovative personality, you also have the opportunity to take up new topics and implement sustainable solutions in the interdisciplinary environment of maintenance and repair.

You can expect more exciting, versatile and interesting topics that include all areas of building technology and building infrastructure:

• HVAC systems from energy production to distribution
• Electric SGK, lighting incl. Control system
• Safety systems such as fire alarm and EVAK systems
• conveyors such as lifts
• Floor / walls as well as facades and roofs
• Initiation of projects for continuous energy optimization and CO2 reduction in your area of responsibility together with your colleagues:

Profile

• They have completed basic training in building technology, ideally with a focus on electrical engineering, as well as higher technical qualifications (FH/HF) in HLKKSE, project management or facility management.
• The safe use of digital tools such as CAFM systems and MS Office is a matter of course for you.
• Your experience in complex TGM projects and provider management makes you a valuable asset.
• They master German fluently in word and writing, good knowledge of English is an advantage.
• Your confident appearance, your communication strength and your ability to complete projects on time and with high quality round off your profile.
• You are an entrepreneurial, technology-savvy personality with a clear head – even in stressful situations.
