For our team in the Actives Production department at the location in Volketswil we are looking for a professional production(m/f/d) as of February/March 2027. In this function, you are responsible for the timely production of products in the required quality and quantity. You work with a wide range of raw materials and thus gain an in-depth insight into the world of cosmetics. Your new team is already curious to meet you.

In this exciting position, you will

• Process implementation and monitoring and cleaning of reactors and peripherals in compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001 and EffCI guidelines (cosmetics GMP) for the following:
• Processes/product categories: polymers, biotechnological production of cosmetic active ingredients and mixtures for the cosmetics industry (componding)
• Serve very different production facilities: Mulitpurpose reactors, various vacuum pumps, filter plants, mixers and extraction plants
• Productions including logging, packaging and cleaning process independently
• Quality controls: ensuring compliance with quality standards, performing in-process controls (pH, density, refractive index, viscosity and olefin determinations)
• Managing complex processes in small teams and supporting other employees as needed

Your qualifications and professional experience include

• Completed teaching, preferably in the field of chemistry, food industry (e.g. baker/confectioner) or mechanics
• Experience in food, pharmaceutical or chemical production desired
• Safe handling of chemicals
• High awareness of compliance with safety, quality and hygiene regulations
• No (acute) allergies
• Enjoying a varied activity and the resulting challenges
• Accurate, forward working methods, high social skills and teamwork skills
• Very good knowledge of German in word and writing
• Readiness to work in 2-shift operation
