Actively shape Migros's ServiceNow platform as a strategic core platform: You connect Demand Management, Governance, architecture, and operations. Together with your agile team, you establish binding standards and drive scalable development across teams. Your goal: clear priorities, a stable platform that can be upgraded over the long term, and maximum business value.

Responsibilities

• You work closely with the architect, quality manager, operations lead, and demand team and actively drive the platform's technical and functional development
• You understand ServiceNow as a strategic platform and can translate demand, architecture, operations, technical development, and organizational governance into an effective operating model
• You are responsible for the stable operation of the platform and ensure transparency regarding risks, dependencies, opportunities, and improvements
• You implement binding group-wide standards as well as reusable platform components and foundational services in all areas of Migros that use the core components of the SN platform
• You are the central point of contact for divisional management and take responsibility for the backlog, prioritization, and communication of core platform topics
• As Design Authority, you are responsible for the architecture standards for scalable development and integrations, ensuring implementation across teams, maintainability, and long-term upgradeability

Requirements

• You have several years of practical ServiceNow experience in an agile environment as a platform or product owner, or in an architecture-related leadership role: ideally in a hybrid IT environment with multiple stakeholders and a high diversity of integrations, with proven experience leading teams and projects
• Completed degree (Uni/ETH, FH, HF): in computer science or business informatics, ideally with further training in Service Now (CTA, CPOA) and agile methods (SAFe, Scrum)
• You have several years of practical experience with ServiceNow, as well as a sound understanding of enterprise-wide platform technologies and processes (ITIL) and their continuous improvement
• You are familiar with topics such as Upgradeability, Data Model Discipline, standardization, reusability, controlled extensibility, and the avoidance of uncontrolled Customization
• You offer a deep understanding of the SN platform architecture (instances, Sub-Prod, releases), integrations with surrounding systems, and operational processes (ServiceNow Best Practices) and their automation
• You can translate technical complexity into robust prioritization and decision-making frameworks and navigate confidently between architecture, delivery, operations, management, and business functions
• You bring servant leadership in an agile context, know how to inspire and guide your teams, also enforce priorities, and, as a team player, demonstrate tolerance and a win-win mentality
• You have broad experience in transformation and change processes in a complex corporate environment and know how to actively shape and successfully implement changes.
• Your strength lies in your communication and prioritization skills when dealing with different stakeholders, partners and their dependencies, and business vs technology
• German (negotiation-level proficiency)
• English (very good command)
• French (an advantage)

Recruitment process

• Getting to know the team: Whether someone is a good fit for the team is an important factor for employees and employers when deciding for or against hiring. We therefore provide an opportunity for everyone to get to know one another in an informal setting.
• Offer & contract preparation (digital): Following our verbal job offer, the key contractual points are verified once again. After agreement is reached, the contract is commissioned for preparation and sent by email for digital signature. Time until response: Up to one week
