We are looking for a committed personality as FACHWAU / FACHMANN VEHICLE PURCHASE 100% as of December 2026 or by agreement
- Independent planning, coordination and on-time handling of vehicle procurement for firefighting organisations in the Canton of Zurich
- Technical advice and support for fire departments in the procurement of new emergency vehicles
- Preparation of subsidy undertakings and preparation and coordination of submission-compliant tender documents
- Preparation and examination of vehicle specifications and loading lists in cooperation with the specialist groups involved
- Ensuring a complete, comprehensible and up-to-date documentation of ongoing procurement operations
- Preparation and evaluation of key figures, statistics and decision-making basis
- Preparation and monitoring of the vehicle procurement budget
- Representation of the Fire Department in working groups, at trade fairs and at vehicle acceptances and transfers
- Collaboration in projects as well as active participation in the further development and optimization of firefighting vehicles
- Completed technical vocational training, preferably in the field of vehicle or commercial vehicle technology, supplemented by commercial or business training
- Strong technical understanding, especially in the field of vehicle and commercial vehicle technology
- Experience in project management as well as in the independent coordination and monitoring of complex procurement processes
- Good knowledge of public procurement law
- Independent, structured, forward-looking and reliable working method
- High level of commitment in respect of deadlines, deadlines and agreements
- Strong communication personality with a proactive, transparent and addressable language
- Innovative thinking and high cost awareness
- Good knowledge of fire department, ideally with experience in the higher cadre of a fire department organization
