At the Comprehensive Cancer Center Zurich (CCCZ), we develop and conduct more than 100 clinical trials every year to treat cancer. In this way, we enable patients to access innovative therapeutic approaches and the latest state of science. In this versatile role, you combine the direct care of study patients with the coordination and further development of our clinical trials program.The position is organized as a job sharing model.
The University Hospital Zurich is one of the largest hospitals in Switzerland. Our more than 8,600 employees and around 700 trainees work every day for the well-being of our patients. Tasks: • Close cooperation with the study centres of the CCCZ and with interprofessional partners: • Supporting the CCCZ Director Clinical Trials in the coordination and development of the clinical trials program • Care of study patients: inside the CCCZ daily clinic and in the future CCCZ Clinical Trial Unit • Administration of study drugs according to study protocol, with focus on safe and professional implementation • Organization of regular exchange meetings of the CCCZ study centres and ensuring structured cooperation • Supervision of the CCCZ Clinical Trial Finder (hts://krebszentrum-zurich.ch/en/studien/ ) and further development of the clinical trials outreach programme • Participation in the introduction of a platform for recording study activity and strengthening the local network for clinical trials in Zurich and the surrounding area Requirements • Certified nurse HF/FH with experience in oncology and/or hematooncology. • Ideally, you have already gained experience in the care of patients in clinical trials. • You work in a structured, precise, independent and reliable manner and keep track of several parallel studies. • You have a strong organizational capacity, a quick apprehension and communicate clearly and appreciatively. • You have very good knowledge of German and English and are confident in dealing with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. • Experience with eCRFs, such as secuTrial® or REDCap®, as well as IVRS systems is an advantage We offer: • A varied task at the interface of highly specialized patient care, research and program coordination. • A university, internationally networked environment with short paths to clinical and scientific experts. • The opportunity to actively shape structures and processes and to further develop the clinical study program of the CCCZ. • A close cooperation in job sharing as well as with a committed, growing team. • Regulated daily working hours, no shift operation.
