For the plaster room in the emergency center, we are looking for a motivated nurse / medical plaster specialist to support the team. In the plaster room of the emergency center, adult patients and children and adolescents of traumatological, orthopaedic and hand-surgical disciplines are treated with plaster applications.

Tasks

• Implementation of medical gypsum applications of the upper and lower extremities and extension therapies in inpatient and outpatient patients according to medical prescription
• Advice and education of patients and their relatives regarding plaster care, handling of plaster and possible complications
• Organization and coordination of the applicable orders in the plaster room and operating room in cooperation with doctors, doctors, secretariats and the nurses of the departments in the day program
• Supporting the care team of the emergency centre in carrying out gypsum applications
• Participation in the supervision of trainees in the plasterroom
• Documentation of ongoing therapy and billing of the services provided in the system

Profile

• You have completed vocational training as an expert / expert emergency care NDS HF or as a nurse HF/FH and already have experience in the field of medical plaster applications
• You bring several years of experience in the acute hospital
• Good working environment and cooperation in a small, established team of medical plaster specialists is important to you
• If desired, there is the possibility of additional employment in the part-time work as an expert / expert emergency care on the emergency department for adults
