Full description
For our interdisciplinary emergency department at the Waid location, we are looking for a team-oriented and competent personality immediately or by agreement.
Tasks
- You will continuously promote and develop a person-centered practice as well as the clinical competencies of nurses.
- You take into account the diverse requirements of different patient groups – with a particular focus on the geriatric setting and the specific needs of older patients.
- You support and empower your team in case discussions, one-on-one meetings and bedside teachings – especially in complex and demanding situations and promote interprofessional cooperation in case of emergency.
- You develop evidence-based guidelines, ensure a successful transfer of theory into practice and carry out professional and interdisciplinary training across locations.
- You lead projects or change processes according to the leadership approach and ensure that they are anchored effectively and sustainably in practice.
- As a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), you lead the specialist development of the emergency department as part of the shared governance team.
- You work closely and across locations in the team of care experts, network in the Zurich City Hospital and bring overarching topics and guidelines to the emergency department.
- You participate in direct clinical patient care.
Profile
- Completed training as a Dipl. Expert / Dipl. Expert Emergency Care NDS HF as well as ongoing or completed Master in Nursing Science
- High clinical competence and experience in emergency care
- Knowledge of geriatric setting and an understanding of the special needs of older patients in an emergency
- Strong communication skills, motivation and commitment to the further development of this dynamic discipline
- Engaged, resilient and open personality with high social skills and excellent communication skills
- Enjoy independent and independent work as well as interdisciplinary cooperation
