Your tasks
- You are responsible for the medical care of our outpatient and inpatient patients in close cooperation with the senior doctors, senior doctors and the chief doctor of children’s orthopedics.
- An important part of your work is the close interdisciplinary cooperation with various departments of the Children's Hospital.
- Your knowledge in children’s orthopedics, neuroorthopedics and traumatology will be deepened in a targeted manner.
- You will also develop your operational skills.
- During the consultation, on the station and during the preliminary examinations, you support our team responsibly and competently. You can expect a versatile work in the field of orthopedics and traumatology in a university and interdisciplinary environment. As the only children’s hospital in Switzerland with C2 approval from Swiss Orthopaedics and through the close cooperation with the University Hospital Balgrist, we offer you the best conditions for your professional development and networking.
Your profile
- You are already advanced in your specialist training “Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology of the musculoskeletal system” or have the corresponding specialist title.
- You have a strong interest in the anatomy and biology of the child and adolescent musculoskeletal system.
- Scientific work is an important part of your activity.
- When dealing with children and their parents, you communicate empathetically and competently.
- The professional and courteous care of our patients is the focus for you.
- Collegial and interdisciplinary cooperation is a matter of course for you.
