The Clinic and Polyclinic for Internal Medicine (KIM) offers an exciting, acute medicine activity with a wide range of complex internistic diseases. >The University Hospital Zurich is one of the largest hospitals in Switzerland. Our more than 8,600 employees and around 700 trainees work every day for the well-being of our patients.

Tasks

• Rotating work on the interdisciplinary bed stations and on our Intermediate Care Unit, if suitable and interested also in the Institute of Emergency Medicine
• Professional and full care of patients: inside and their relatives
• Supervision and teaching of assistant doctors: women in further education
• Participation in the Senior Physician Shift Service of Internal Medicine
• Joy of interdisciplinary cooperation

Requirements

• Specialist FMH General Internal Medicine; of advantage are additional specialization e.g. intensive care FMH or an equivalent training recognized by MEBEKO
• Broad and multi-year internistic experience in general internal medicine
• Owner: in FA Sonography/POCUS or shortly before obtaining
• Promotion (Dr. med.)
• Resilient, team capable and communicative personality with pleasure in interdisciplinary cooperation
• Willingness and interest to participate in university teaching and research projects
