Their main tasks
- Working in the team of the department of paediatric ophthalmology, strabology and rare diseases
- Versatile consultation hours at the USZ and the Children's Hospital Zurich
- Performing strabological and paediatric ophthalmological procedures
- ROP Screening and Treatment
- Participation in the further education of assistant doctors and fellows and teaching of students
- Support and organize current and planned clinical research projects
Your profile
- Completed ophthalmological training (specialist / specialist ophthalmology)
- Experience in the specialties of strabology and paediatric ophthalmology, fellowship is beneficial but not a condition
- Good communication skills and empathetic behavior towards patients: inside and parents
- Excellent knowledge of German at at least C1 level
- Quick comprehension, independent and forward working methods
- You know your strengths and limits.
- Flexible, motivated, helpful and team capable personality with pleasure in dealing with people
- Interest and participation in research
