VZ is the leading independent financial services provider in Switzerland. We advise individuals and companies on all matters relating to money, manage assets and offer attractive financial services. As we are growing strongly, we are looking for reinforcements for our IT team at our headquarters at Paradeplatz in Zurich.

• You will continuously operate and develop security-relevant network services such as firewalls, VPN solutions, web gateways and DLP systems.
• You take over the professional control of our external network and security service providers. You will analyze requirements, perform connection and log analyses, define the necessary changes and ensure their high-quality implementation.
• You are responsible for the stable operation and continuous development of our central infrastructure services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and other Windows Server-based platform services.
• Together with specialist departments and external partners, you provide the necessary server and infrastructure platforms for new applications and accompany them from planning to commissioning.
• You are responsible for the operation, monitoring and further development of our monitoring and observability solutions and ensure transparency about the state of our IT platforms.
• You will actively participate in infrastructure and transformation projects and contribute your expertise in architecture, automation and standardization topics.
• You will support internal departments with technical issues and advise them on the use and integration of our infrastructure services.
• Completed computer science training (EFZ, HF, FH or similar) or several years of practical experience in the responsible areas of the IT infrastructure.
• In-depth experience in enterprise networking and IT security, especially in firewalls, VPN technologies, proxy and web gateway solutions.
• Experience working with external service providers and enjoying coordinating technical requirements, critically questioning them and tracking their implementation.
• Good knowledge of the operation of Windows server infrastructures as well as central basic services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, certificate services or group policies.
• Interest in modern infrastructure and cloud technologies, ideally with initial experience in Microsoft Azure.
• Analytical and structured working methods as well as pleasure in understanding technical connections and developing sustainable solutions.
• Very good German skills in words and writing as well as good English skills for cooperation with manufacturers and partners.
• Readiness for occasional assignments at our locations in Switzerland and Germany.
• Every year you have three days and CHF 1'000 free for further education. We support larger external training within the framework of your job profile.
• You work at a modern and air-conditioned workplace in the center of Zurich and have the possibility of two days of home office per week.

Requirements

• • Abgeschlossene Informatik-Ausbildung (EFZ, HF, FH oder vergleichbar) oder mehrjährige praktische Erfahrung in den verantworteten Bereichen der IT-Infrastruktur.
• • Fundierte Erfahrung im Bereich Enterprise Networking und IT-Security, insbesondere bei Firewalls, VPN-Technologien, Proxy- und Webgateway-Lösungen.
• • Erfahrung in der Zusammenarbeit mit externen Dienstleistern und Freude daran, technische Anforderungen zu koordinieren, kritisch zu hinterfragen und deren Umsetzung nachzuverfolgen.
• • Gute Kenntnisse im Betrieb von Windows-Server-Infrastrukturen sowie zentralen Basisdiensten wie Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Zertifikatsdiensten oder Gruppenrichtlinien.
• • Interesse an modernen Infrastruktur- und Cloud-Technologien, idealerweise mit ersten Erfahrungen in Microsoft Azure.
• • Analytische und strukturierte Arbeitsweise sowie Freude daran, technische Zusammenhänge zu verstehen und nachhaltige Lösungen zu entwickeln.
• • Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift sowie gute Englischkenntnisse für die Zusammenarbeit mit Herstellern und Partnern.
• • Bereitschaft für gelegentliche Einsätze an unseren Standorten in der Schweiz und in Deutschland.
