In your role, you support the team of the cardiac surgery bed ward in various areas and contribute in many ways to making our patients and their relatives feel optimally looked after. You can actively shape and further develop processes and patient-centered processes. You are on the pulse of events! We are looking for an active, motivated and committed reinforcement for our team of the normal care station.
Your main tasks
- Perform blood sampling (venous) according to standard procedures
- Peripheral venous catheters (PVC) including monitoring and documentation
- Carrying out clinical-medical activities (writing ECGs, removing Pacemaker electrodes, removing chest drinagen)
- Conduct of daily examination and documentation
- General care of patients of the cardiac surgical polyclinic in close coordination with the medical profession
- Coordination of appointments (internal consultation hours, investigations)
- Recording of the anamnesis as well as status survey on entry, conducting assessments
- Organization and planning of office hours, including patient flow, prioritization and documentation
- Secure handling of the clinic software KISIM (documentation, order entry, administration)
- Support of doctors:women in wound controls, including preparation of materials, assistance and documentation
- Writing of various reports
- Participation in process changes (adjustments to the rules, adjustments to the guidelines, introduction of new processes)
- Review and completion of the intelligence documents (e.g. intelligence protocols, general consensus)
- Technical and administrative support to medical and non-medical staff of the cardiac surgical polyclinic
- Health promotion and prevention measures
- Perceiving the coordination function in the interdisciplinary team
Your profile
- Completed training as a specialist Health / Specialist Health EFZ or medical practice assistant / medical practice assistant EFZ
- Experience in healthcare, advantageously in the same or similar function
- Very good and stylish knowledge of German in word and writing, further knowledge of foreign languages is advantageous
- Good handling of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power-Point)
- Sympathetic communication with patients: inside and their relatives
- Structured and reliable working method with high self-discipline and initiative
- Teamwork and willingness for interdisciplinary cooperation
- High sense of responsibility and organizational talent, even in demanding situations
