For the Personalcafeteria we are looking for a committed and established person by 01.03.2027 or by agreement, temporarily until 31.12.2027.

We run the staff cafeterias in Amthaus IV and V, in the Stadthaus, in the administrative centre Eggbühl and in the Walche. Every day we serve around 350 employees of the city administration.

Coffee and summit in the morning, lunch service, food in between: The beat is tight, the guests come back every day. Our participants learn reliability and speed in an environment that forgives when necessary and demands wherever possible.

Tasks

• You work independently in the kitchen and in the service with direct customer contact and if necessary at various locations in the city of Zurich.
• You ensure a high-quality gastronomic operation as well as a smooth flow in the daily business of the personal cafeteria.
• You usually work at a location without participants. Depending on your capacity, however, you are deployed at locations where you guide participants and assist in carrying out gastronomic activities without taking on an agogic task.
• In some cases, you work closely with the employees in order to make the day-to-day work optimal.
• The maintenance and maintenance of the infrastructure and work equipment are also part of your tasks.
• You take on administrative activities within the gastronomic business, including ordering and goods management.
• You always ensure compliance with and implementation of the applicable hygiene and safety regulations according to HACCP.

Profile

• Completed training in gastronomy (e.g. Koch*Köchin EFZ, restoration specialist EFZ)
• Professional experience in gastronomy, ideally in a social or inclusive environment
• Enjoy working with people in a meaningful context and high social competence
• Resilience, teamwork, structured working methods as well as flexibility and willingness to work at different locations in the city of Zurich if necessary
• You’re safe in Microsoft 365 and open to getting used to new digital tools – including AI tools
• Very good knowledge of German, at least B1
