Main responsibilities
- Holistic care and support of women and their families during pregnancy, childbirth and the first period thereafter
- Independent management of physiological births as well as co-care of obstetric and medical risk and crisis situations
- Participation in preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic measures in a university environment
- Ensuring professional and patient-centred care
- Collaboration with the interprofessional team of doctors: inside, nurses and other specialist areas
- Active participation in the further development of processes and standards in the birth department
- Accompanying and supporting midwife students in everyday work Requirements Completed training as midwife BSc or FH
- Joy of accompanying families around the birth
- High level of technical and social competence and an appreciative attitude towards patients and relatives
- Ability to set priorities and keep track even in demanding situations Enjoy working in an interprofessional team
