Uroviva stands for a modern medical network and includes a special clinic for urology, eleven urological practices and an andrology center. With approximately 70,000 consultations each year in primary, special and emergency care and more than 5,000 operations of all severity levels, Uroviva is an important provider of urological services in Switzerland. For our practice location in the hospital Männedorf we are looking for an engaged person immediately or by agreement. Medical practice assistant or medical secretary (40-100%, by agreement)
Their tasks
- Planning, organisation and preparation of office hours
- Preparation of patient responses for the annual check-ups of all doctors present at the site
- Writing medical reports, KG entries and various correspondences such as surgical exits, insurance certificates and cost-benefit languages with the program MPAssist
- Overview of the services to be covered and the sending of family doctor reports
- Coordination of surgical planning for all Uroviva doctors for the Männedorf site
- If necessary also support / discharge of other locations when writing reports
- Maintenance of Uroviva's e-mail inbox, coordination of telephone inputs
- Reading and storing of various documents
- Medical contact person
- Arrangement of appointments and reception of patients, post-processing
Additional tasks as a medical practice assistant
- Blood samples, urine analyses, wound and bandage changes and instillations
- Preparation of urological examinations and assistance in examinations and minor procedures (cystoscopy, prostate biopsy, vasectomy, etc.)
- Professional, hygienic and impeccable care of the examination rooms
Your profile
- Completed training as medical/practice assistant/EFZ or specialist health EFZ
- Professional experience as MPA or medical secretary
- Savvy with medical terminology, urology knowledge beneficial
- Maintained appearance
- Stylistic German in Word and Writing
- Friendly, sovereign appearance even in hectic situations
- Discretion and responsibility in dealing with sensitive patient data
- Good MS Office application knowledge and experience with Vitomed is beneficial
- Teamwork, contact, commitment and a high degree of independence and flexibility
