Role overview

Tasks

• You are responsible for the independent, correct, complete, audit-proof and timely coding of inpatient cases based on the primary medical documentation

• You check the medical and nursing documentation for plausibility and completeness

• You are actively involved in exciting additional tasks related to medical coding – for example in projects or in test and rejection management

• You keep your expertise up-to-date and continuously evolving, both in the medical field and in terms of coding and tariff regulations as well as current innovations

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in medical coding according to SwissDRG, with a background as a doctor or nurse with in-depth clinical experience in patient care

• Eidg. Professional ID as a medical coder*in an advantage

• Knowledge of clinic information systems and safe handling of MS Office

• Very good knowledge of German in word and writing is required

• Team-capable and service-oriented personality with an independent, efficient and solution-oriented working method

• Readiness to continue to train and develop in accordance with the requirements of medical progress and the DRG system
