The Department of Surgery belongs to the Animal Hospital of the University of Zurich. She is involved in the teaching, research and service of the Vetsuisse Faculty University of Zurich. The employment is limited to 2 to 3 weeks.
Tasks
Self-conducting surgical procedures in bovine animals, small ruminants and New World camelids Supervision and clinical training of assistant physicians and residents in livestock surgery Care and practical training of students of the 5th year of study in the context of clinical teaching Cooperation in ambulatory and inpatient care Participation in clinical case meetings and surgical decision-making processes
Profile
Successfully completed study of veterinary medicine Completed specialization in large animal surgery (Dipl. ECVS or Dipl.) ACVS Experience in livestock surgery, in particular in cattle, small ruminants and New World camelids Joy of clinical activity, teaching and teamwork
